Views
Tracking vulnerabilities often requires running the same searches repeatedly. OpenCVE’s Views feature lets you save your search queries so you can reuse them instantly, making vulnerability monitoring more efficient.
Why use Views?
Instead of manually typing complex queries like vendor:microsoft AND (cvss31>=9 OR cvss40>=9)
, you can save them as Views and access them whenever needed. This makes it easier to keep track of specific CVEs without the hassle of re-entering search criteria.
There are two types of Views in OpenCVE:
- Public Views: Shared across your organization, allowing anyone in the team to use and modify them.
- Private Views: Only accessible and editable by you.
How to use Views?
First you can execute a query using the advanced search syntax:
Click the Save button, enter a name for your view and choose its privacy setting (Public or Private):
Save it, and your query is now available for quick access using the Load button:
All your saved Views can be managed from the Views section. Simply click on a View to apply its query instantly or edit/delete it when needed.
